Breast Revision Recovery

Recovery times vary from patient to patient. Dr. Capizzi’s patients find his efficient surgical technique to speed up healing, with minimal pain or discomfort. Each client will receive a customized aftercare plan that addresses individual postoperative needs. It is the recommendation of our surgeons to avoid strenuous activities for several days following the procedure. This includes lifting and/or high-impact aerobics. On occasion, the doctor may use small breast drains to excise fluids, which will need removal within 48 hours. Gauze-covered sutures will dissolve within 30 days.
